As I watched the events unfold on tv, I couldn&#039;t stop thinking about the man who did this, and wondering what kind of circumstances brought him to this point. I knew it had to be deep pain. I also thought about the verse quoted above, Matthew 5:21-22, knowing that we all have that sin nature within us which includes a bent toward anger and revenge. I can&#039;t remember a time when I cried so much watching the news and felt somehow I,too, was experiencing the tragedy of it all. 
Our prayers will avail much; it is promised by God. And we will see good beyond the grief.</description>
