Well, Eric, your list of five reasons shows that things haven't changed (and that's a good thing!!) since I moved away almost five years ago. NewLife and its people (including you and your family) continue to have a special place in my heart. May God continue to show you His favor.

Let me offer a few reasons why I attend NewLife:

1) Pastor Eric has met with me once a month at my condo in E. Hartford for the last year and a half. We have discussed many doctrinal, church, and personal issues, and he has been a major force in settling my anxieties for ultimate spiritual truth. I thank him for his faithfulness to our meetings and for some meals from Michele and other NewLife visitors. I thank him also for listening to my many suggestions which, prayerfully, may have a long term impact. I really respect his understanding and discernment and his willingness to do what is needed for the congregation. Coffee and muffins are available for anyone who wants to join us when we get together (last thursday morning of every month).

2) Although small, NewLife has a great cross section of believers who are eager to learn about God and to do His will. I look forward to many more testimonies of God's power and goodness and the use of spiritual and service gifts within the congregation.

3) One of the real strengths of the church is that NewLife is a house of prayer as intended by God Himself. God has answered all of my requests for family members and friends, and I thank NewLife for praying on their behalf
