Home About Us Our Story

The Story So Far...

NewLife Christian Fellowship began public worship in the basement of the Gallery Restaurant in Glastonbury in July of 1992 with Peter Dewberry as pastor.  Several families were also involved in starting the work with the encouragement of Pastor Mark Santestefano of the Worship Center in Hebron. These founding families had a vision of a church in Glastonbury that would worship the Lord in spirit and in truth, care for each other with the love of Jesus, and reach out to others with the good news of His saving love.

Today, NewLife is a solid body of Christians who are committed to fulfilling that vision in Glastonbury, greater Hartford, and the world.  Under the leadership of their new pastor, Eric Stillman, NewLife is eagerly looking forward to seeing the love, peace, and justice of Jesus extend beyond its church borders to our community and world.  In December of 2008, NewLife moved into their new space at 131 Griswold St., the former Hitchcock Furniture building, in the hopes that this location might be a catalyst to an even greater impact on our community and region.
