Children's Ministry
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14).

Children are important to God, and are a vital part of our ministry here at NewLife. We offer Sunday School for children from 3 years old up to 6th grade, and nursery care for infants from 6 months up to age 3.
Sunday School – Children are dismissed to Sunday School before the sermon (usually around 10:35). The classes are taught by a rotation of mature Christians who are qualified, trained, and have passed criminal background checks. Our classes use a Group Publishing curriculum called Faithweaver (you can learn about it here) which leads the children through the Bible in three years, focusing on the Old Testament every fall and summer and the New Testament every winter and spring. For each lesson, your child will receive a take home paper with ideas on how you can reinforce what they are learning in Sunday School.

Nursery – Children from 6 months up to the age of three can be left in our nursery. There are always at least two caregivers on duty in the nursery, and all caregivers have passed a criminal background check. We also have a private area for nursing mothers off the back of our sanctuary, and cuddlers who are willing to hold and soothe infants so that you can participate in the church service.
