How do you know your faith is the real deal?  Are you sure you really know God?  Do you have confidence that you will be in heaven when you die?  The apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 13:5, 'Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you-- unless, of course, you fail the test?' In that spirit, during this five week series we will be looking at John's first letter in the New Testament, understanding what true, saving faith really looks like, so that we might all, God-willing, pass the test.
